Drive provides
a range of accommodation services for people with disabilities across Bridgend,
Cardiff, Merthyr Tydfil and Rhondda Cynon Taff.
These services
range from being intensively staffed, 24-hour services provided to people with
complex needs through to home care type service provided by the hour. Drive’s services are aimed at meeting the
individual needs of our Service Users.
This is achieved through a sophisticated process of assessment of
individual needs, planning to meet that need, implementing the plans and
evaluating the effectiveness of the service delivery.
Drive is fully
committed to working in partnership with all its services. Within accommodation services, Drive
recognises that it is providing services to people in their own homes. Where
Service Users are tenants, they have individual Tenancy Agreements with the
housing provider who is generally a housing association, private landlord or
the local authority.
Drive seeks to
promote and support user involvement in all aspects of working in people’s own
homes and has taken steps towards establishing a Tenants Association and
formalising its links with the Organisation’s Voluntary Management Board.
